VOTING RESOURCES



1. Who is eligible to vote in the 2022 CNMI General Election happening on November 8, 2022?



To be eligible to vote in the upcoming Northern Marianas general elections, you must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of the CNMI, and at least 18 years of age.



2. How do I register to vote?



Fill out and submit the registration form at the CNMI Election Commission.


If you are a first-time CNMI voter, be sure to bring a valid U.S. passport, other government-issued ID, or birth certificate with you.

Note: CNMI voter registration is now closed.



3. What is the last day to register to vote?



The last day to register to vote was September 9, 2022.



4. What is the process to register for absentee voting?



Information on how to register to vote absentee is available on the Commonwealth Election Commission website here, or call 670-235-VOTE.


The absentee voter registration package can be downloaded here. The CEC will begin accepting requests for absentee ballots on August 25, 2022.



5. What is the deadline to submit an application to vote absentee?



The deadline to submit an absentee voter application is October 14, 2022.
